There will of course be no end of bets that you can place on any football team you fancy betting on this coming season, however the English Championship outright winner betting markets have now gone live at most bookies sites, so today I want to take a look at the early odds available.
Keep in mind though, that you can also place an each-way bet on any team in the English Championship who you hope will win, and even if they do not win but get placed in one of the top three spots at the end of the season by placing an each-way bet you will be paid out to three places at a quarter of the win odds, or you will if you bet with BetFred.
Certainly the early smart money bet and the team that does offer the best value on the early betting markets for the English Championship are Leeds, and if you get your skates on you should be able to secure the odds of 5/1 many bookies are offering on them today.
Fulham at 15/2 do, it has to be said, look a very reasonable bet to win the title race for the English Championship in the 2019/20 season, however they will need things to fall their way and that is something you can never be guaranteed of in that league.
Other Teams to Consider
It is often the case when backing teams to win any league or division, punters are going to be backing the teams they support rather than follow the odds and back the most fancied and most bet on teams.
There are several teams that do also stand out at good value on the early betting markets right now and some that do spring to mind are West Brom at 10/1 along with Cardiff at 11/1, Stoke at 12/1 and Middlesbrough at 14/1 who could get placed too.
Riskier Betting Propositions
The other teams that are going to be playing in the English Championship in the 2019/20 have a slightly lower chance of winning or getting placed than those teams listed up above and some of those teams include Brentford, Derby and Huddersfield at 16/1.
However, it is your money after all and as such you can back any team you do rate and some that could be worth a small punt include the likes of Bristol City, Sheff Wed and Nottingham Forest at 20/1 or possibly Swansea at 25/1, Preston at 28/1 and Birmingham at 33/1 too.
It does however look somewhat unlikely that you are going to see teams such as Luton, Hull and Blackburn at 40/1 being backed in any great number, and the same can also be said for the likes of Reading and QPR at 50/1 and as for which teams are completely friendless in the betting right now well they are Millwall, Charlton and Wigan at 66/1 and Barnsley at 80/1 who do to be fair, all look up against it next season.
