Leeds do look a fair bet if you want to take your chances on backing them to win the English Championship this season, however betting sites are of course going to be offering you a different set of odds on them and all other teams so you should be hunting around for the very best value!
It is Paddy Power that are offering what I feel are the highest odds currently, and as such with that in mind if you are a fan of Leeds or simply think no other team is going to perform better than them this season, you will be offered odds today of 7/2 at that betting site.
As for which other teams may just come out on top this season, well it is early in the season of course, and any team could suddenly start playing well, and two teams that may just do that are West Brom and Norwich whose odds of 9/2 to win the title are appealing for sure.
Sheff Utd are a team that plenty of punters are backing even at this fairly early stage of the betting and if you do fancy their chances of winning the title then you really ought to be backing them right now at Paddy Power as they are going 11/2 on them winning, and those odds will of course start to drop if they win match after match moving forward!
Could Middlesbrough Win the Title?
One team that I do think is where the value truly lays is Middlesbrough, for their current form is not too bad and it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if they continue to play well throughout the remainder of the season.
I do think they have to be worth a speculative punt right now for with odds being offered of 13/2 at Paddy Power the odds and potential winnings are there for the taking if they do play up to their very best form, and looking at some of the teams they are up against during the rest of the season they should win plenty of matches for sure!
Derby and the Other Teams Chances
There are of course going to be risks attached to you backing any of the other teams in the English Championship, however if you are prepared to take those chances you will be rewarded with some decent odds for sure.
Derby for example are a reasonable bet to say the least and they are on offer at 12/1, Aston Villa will of course need plenty of luck in playing the rest of their matches this season, but their odds of 14/1 do give you an overview of their realistic chances of winning the title.
Notts Forest are not on top form this season so there are risks attached to you backing them at 20/1 and the same most certainly can be said of the likes of Stoke at 40/1, Brentford, Swansea and QPR at 80/1 and I seriously doubt that Birmingham fans will be celebrating at the end of this season, unless they win and they took the 100/1 odds available right now of course!
