English League 2 Team Promotion Betting

It is of course a foregone conclusion that Lincoln are moving up a league at the end of the season, however as for which team you also fancy to also be promoted, well there are some teams that do stand a much greater chance of doing so than others in League 2.

For anyone out there that does fancy betting on any of the teams in League 2 that they are convinced will be promoted at the end of the season, get on offer to Betfred and do so rapidly, as that bookie is offering some of the best odds on all teams, however obviously you can’t bet on Lincoln!

There are two teams that have been backed to be promoted by a fair number of punters and as such they are currently both the joint favourite teams in addition to Lincoln to get promoted, and they are the MK Dons and Bury and you can back either of them at odds of 1/4.

Next in the betting and also available at some sadly tiny odds you have Mansfield, and to be fair to that team it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if they did manage to get promoted into League 1 and as for their current odds, well BetFred are going 2/7 on them being promoted.

Four Other Teams to Consider

You could be of the mind, but you are probably in the small minority of punters, that one of the next four teams in the betting are going to be promoted, but by backing any of them you will be rewarded with some much higher odds of course.

For reference the next four teams in the betting are Tranmere at 5/2, followed by Forest Green at 7/2 and then you have Exeter at 7/1 and the only other team that could, but only if they have some amazing luck, be promoted is Carlisle whose odds right now for those of you out there that are interested are 12/1.

High Risk Teams to Back

Five other teams are in with a chance, but I think it’s true to say a very tiny chance of being promoted up to League 1 at the end of the season, but fans of those five teams may fancy backing them to do so and will certainly be offered some very decent odds too.

BetFred have those five teams listed on their betting market and as such if you want to back the likes of Colchester to be promoted at the end of this season up to League 1 then you can back them right now at huge odds of 22/1.

However, if your loyalties lay with teams such as Oldham you will be able to take advantage of some much higher odds of 25/1 and fans of both Swindon and Newport are certainly going to be tempted to back them right now with their odds both being 28/1 but as for the other team, that being Stevenage I doubt that even the most loyal of their supporters will be backing them at their win odds of 50/1!
